Start of a new year.

Welcome everyone to 2019. After an eventful 2018, i am hoping that 2019 is a little less chaotic and hope to get more done this year.

4 days into the year and so far;

 I've knit 2ft of an infinity scarf for my mother using some yarn she picked up cheaply from factory seconds bags last week.

I've made more squares for my large double/queen sized blanket, bringing me to a total of 84 squares out of a total of 196 needed.
New Years Eve morning, saw me in the city at the craft store, spending a gift card i had, before the sale ended. I scored 6 more cakes of yarn to add to the blanket, for the price i would normally only get 4. which are now all wound into individual colour balls to add to the blanket. Which as can be seen below, i have broken down the 3x3 panels i had joined up, to mix the new, and any future colours in so that it blends nicely.

I've added a few more rounds to the scrapghan granny blanket using odds and ends of yarn from making smaller squares for the above blanket.

I have also started a new blanket, using colour pooling yarn, that refuses to pool correctly so, it is going to be solid granny square as the yarn refuses to behave.

In General, i've had a very productive, and crafty start to the New Year
