Summers End

As summer draws to an end here in the Southern Hemisphere, Southern Australia was hit with a decent heatwave, which left me feeling sluggish and all together lazy. I spent my days lounging on my bed, with the blinds drawn closed to keep the heat of the sun out of the room. In the mornings and evenings I have gotten some more work done on the random stripey blanket.

The blanket, as can be seen to the left, looks delightfully delicious when folded and rolled up to show off all the wonderful colours, though since this photo was taken I have added a few more stripes of colourful squishiness, making the blanket a little longer than it is wider so far! (120cm/4ft wide x 130cm/4.2ft long)

In between the blanket making and lounging around I have queued up a few little projects on Ravelry I wish to make in the near future, most of which are Easter related, little bunnies, eggs and other cute animals.

Over the next few weeks I will be kept busy with medical appointments, work related appointments, and social outings, but I will continue to crochet and knit as I always do.
